Media Central Corp. have been looking to develop their own app to share a curated list of relevant articles. We have worked with MCC’s other subsidiaries such as NOW Toronto on their web design and have built a working relationship. They trusted us with their web design and in turn, asked us to help them with custom software development. For the Creator News app, they wanted to be able to automate the selection of articles from their content partners and be able to push the articles directly to readers’ inboxes daily.
Challenge
Our software development team have created a mobile-responsive app that can automatically select trending articles published by their content partners and include it in the daily list of recommended reads. Additionally, we created a companion app available for mobile app download on the Apple Store and Android Play Store. We continue to maintain and improve the software on the website and app.
